My brother actually suggested the idea of using an Archimedes screw in a teapot. To pour the teapot you turn the knob on the lid, which rotates the spout and rases the tea to the top then pours it into your cup.

I didn't realise how much it looked like a toilet until I began showing it to people...

Approach

The teapot was modeled in Solidworks 2005, then rendered in 3D Studio Max and then layed out using photoshop.
