This was another group project - my contribution was the initial concept and the presentation work. The brief was to produce a device to deal with blanketweed infestation in domestic ponds.

Approach

Our design senses the levels of nitrates, phosphates and PH in the water and treats these levels down to those of a naturally balanced pond. It is essentially simple, and far more environmentally friendly than dumping badly-measured quantities of chemicals into the pond.
